Privacy Policy

TrackFlow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use TrackFlow, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and display name.
• Profile data — avatar image and color preferences you set.
• Board data — the names, notes, tags, and layout of your kanban boards. File paths are stored locally and synced to your account if you are a Premium user.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We store your Stripe Customer ID to manage your subscription status.
• Usage data — crash reports sent to our logging service when the app encounters an error. These include the error message and app version but no personally identifiable information beyond your account ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the TrackFlow service.
• To sync your boards across devices (Premium accounts).
• To process payments and manage your subscription status via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without explicit opt-in.
• To diagnose and fix crashes and bugs using error reports.

3. Data Storage

Your account and board data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database infrastructure hosted on AWS. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

File scanning operates entirely on your local machine. TrackFlow reads file paths and metadata (name, date modified) but does not upload your audio files or project files to our servers.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. TrackFlow never handles or stores full payment card details. You can manage or cancel your billing at any time through the app's Profile settings.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• Supabase — for database and authentication infrastructure.
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Law enforcement or regulators if required by applicable law.

6. Collaboration

When you share a board with another user (Premium feature), your display name and profile picture are visible to members of that board. Board data including card titles, notes, and tags is shared in real-time with all board members. You can remove members or stop sharing at any time from within the app.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and board data are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Stripe retains transaction records as required by financial regulations.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from the app's Profile settings. For any other requests, contact us at the email below.

9. Children's Privacy

TrackFlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
